Does Spectr integrate with Sage?

Yes. Spectr names Sage as an accounting integration so you can keep a working general ledger and still run unique products, containers, crates, and site scan in an operations system. Spectr does not replace accounting.

Key facts

  • Sage holds vendors, invoices, and the GL.
  • Spectr holds products, shop, ship, and install.
  • Using Sage items as unique panels recreates the SKU explosion problem.
  • The public product story is integrate, not rip-and-replace.

How shops handle this

  1. Draw the boundary
    Sage: books. Spectr: the work.
  2. Agree who creates the PO and who receives
Dual entry is how quantities diverge.
  3. Pilot a receipt into a container
That is the demo that matters.
  4. Leave historical Sage data alone on day one
    Going-forward operations first.

Common questions

We are on Sage 50 or Intacct.

The pattern is the same. Ask about your flavour — do not assume every Sage product maps identically.

Will we double-pay?

You already pay for Excel labour. Two systems that do not overlap badly is cheaper than one bad compromise.
