How to break a facade job into phases

A facade job is a building with shifting site dates. Spectr uses phases, scopes, and directives so production and shipping can follow an elevation instead of one undifferentiated work order.

How shops handle this

Name phases the way the site talks
West podium, level 8–12 — not “Phase 1” if nobody uses that.
Attach products to a phase
Or the crate map will pack whatever finished first.
Give each phase a site window
Then schedule cutlists and finish backward from that date.
Re-sequence when the GC slips
The shop should see the new priority the same day.

Common questions

Is a phase the same as a Procore area?

It can map. Your phase still has to own products, crates, and shop priority.

How many phases?

Enough that a date change is usable. Not so many that engineering lives in the ERP.
