How to schedule finishing without delaying install

Schedule finishing from the install phase date backward: vendor capacity, transit, and a buffer for rejects. Spectr puts the services calendar on the same timeline as production and shipping so a late rack is visible before the crew is standing around.

Key facts

Install dates move. Finish dates have to move with them or you will air-freight painted metal.
Rejects at the coater are a scheduled risk, not a surprise.
Do not crate for site before finish is actually back and received.
The shipping dashboard should not show “ready” if the rack is still at the anodizer.

Set the phase date first

The coater will not live in our software.

Can we stock finished extrusions?

Only if the system and the spec allow it. Most architectural finishes are job-specific.
